Swedish massage:

With long fluid effleurage strokes your body will feel the tension of life float away. Clients looking for a relaxing way to distress the body and will benefit from this massage. These strokes along with comfortable pressure will encourage your body to flush out any toxins it may be holding. The body and mind will reconnect allowing you to feel relaxed and rejuvenated, while balance is restored.

Swedish/Deep Tissue massage:

A more therapeutic touch is used in Deep Tissue massage. Recommended for clients dealing with discomfort and pain. A misconception of Deep Tissue massage is, if it hurts, it's working! I'm here to put that misconception to rest. If pain is involved the muscle is actually resisting the touch, the muscle is tightening up, not relaxing. Working the muscle to the edge of feeling pain is the art of effective Deep Tissue massage. When you feel a good hurt your muscle is getting the therapy it needs to let go and relax. I will work with you to find that fine line and together we can encourage the muscle to restore itself.

Please take this information with you where ever you get massage. Never tolerate pain. Let the therapist know if you need more or less pressure. Remember, it's your massage.

Oncology massage:

This massage is for clients in cancer treatment or in remission. As in any massage and especially for clients working with cancer the massage should be preformed by a therapist with proper training. My intention is to create a safe peaceful space where you can escape to. You will experience a time of restoration and relaxation. I will pay close attention to the amount of pressure and the speed of each stroke, making sure you are comfortable at all times.

Pregnancy massage:

Having been pregnant a couple times myself, I have apathy for mommies-to-be and know how beneficial massage can be at any stage of pregnancy. I use the side line method when you are no longer able to lay on your tummy. We will celebrate the miracle growing inside of you, with a massage that focuses on your fast changing body and addresses the aches and pains that go along with pregnancy. Applying the perfect amount of pressure you will feel relief in your muscles and joints; allowing you to relax and enjoy the beauty of pregnancy.
